Mothering Skills Training Room Looked Round With Delight

Looking round the different places of Pyongyang Teachers Training College in January 2018, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who had learned in detail about the reconstruction and modernization, dropped in at a training room of mothering skills.

An official of the college explained that a range of educational methods, such as how to use household things for children's education, how to instruct orphan children and how to give them motherly affection, were included in the extra curriculum to be taught in the room.

Then, with a smile on his face, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un asked if many graduates from the college would be assigned as a teacher to the primary schools for orphans.

The college official answered they would, but didn't recognize soon what made him so delighted.

After a while, the respected General Secretary said that students at this college were being taught how to combine schooling and home education in a classroom to simulate home environment, which is essential for orphans. He emphasized that as some of the graduates would be assigned as a teacher to Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans, the teachers training college should give the students such an education without fail.

Only then did the officials realize why he expressed great satisfaction with this room, which deeply touched them to the heart.

What he meant was that for orphans without parents, the school, the teachers and the comrades are their home, their parents, their brothers and sisters.

Therefore, teachers who would go to an orphanage or an orphans' primary school should have a warm affection like their own flesh and blood so that orphans could follow them as their own mother and should be prepared to educate children in a homely environment.

His teachings on that day got deeply imprinted in the minds of educators as an earnest request of a benevolent mentor wishing to bring up all the children to be the pillars of the country with high capacity and noble traits.
