Great Declaration

At the moment, the whole country is seething like a melting pot upon the speech the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made at the inauguration of regional-industry factories in Songchon County, the first offspring of “Regional Development 20×10 Policy”

In his speech the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un declared that it is our Party’s view on the future to make the capital envy local areas, the regional promotion represent the progress and development of our state and the ideal appearance of the local regions symbolize the real image of the Korean style socialism.

He also vigorously declared that our Party will extend and intensify its historic regional development policy and rural revolution program in the new era so that our people could benefit from it even a hundred years later, and that it will run any risk to bring about even more radical changes to the local areas.

There exist countless countries and leaders in this world but no leader has ever made a greater speech than this.

All our people were so moved that they were determined to hand down this immense gratitude from generation to generation, when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth the “Regional Development 20×10 Policy” for his beloved people and initiated a great revolution to realize it.

But when he expressed a sense of shame for bringing it onto the agenda too late, we, the people of the country, could not restrain our overwhelming emotion.

It is our respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who bears an iron will and belief that everyone born on this land has the right to and must lead an affluent and civilized life, fully and equally enjoying the benefits of socialism whether they are in the capital or country, city or village.

That is why he taught that regional reform is the most sacred and just cause and that we should feel endless pride and honor in devoting ourselves to this great revolutionary cause.

True, the historical speech that reverberated from Songchon County across the country is a great declaration of our affectionate father who strongly wills to bring the day earlier when our people, his beloved sons and daughters, will lead a civilized and wealthy life in their reformed home villages, their flourishing hometowns.

This declaration made our people renew the truth that the slogans “We Serve the People!” and “All for the Improvement of the People’s Livelihood!” will remain forever as the true character and immortal mission of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
