Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Meets and Congratulates Labor Innovators and Meritorious Persons Invited to Celebrations of National Day

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, met labor innovators and meritorious persons invited to the celebrations of the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK at the Pyongyang Assembly Hall on September 9.

The participants, who were honored to be present at the glorious moment they had greatly yearned, broke into enthusiastic cheers with reverence for Comrade Kim Jong Un, whom they had so much longed to see, with pride and honor of having devoted patriotic enthusiasm and efforts to the crucial course of advance for making a breakthrough in attaining the new long-term goals set by the historic Ninth Congress of the Party.

Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly congratulated the delegates from different sectors, who were invited to the celebrations of the national day with the labor achievements they made with inexhaustible devotion, sharing intention and will with the Party in the vanguard of the struggle for adding to the greatness of the country and accelerating its progress.

The ranks of patriots regarding it as the most honorable and happy life to dedicate themselves to the victory and glory of the Republic, sharing their destiny with the country, are increasing day by day, he said, adding that this is the very key and inexhaustible strength guaranteeing the vigorous development of the country and the success of the Party policies.

He said that the struggle at a new stage for making the period of unprecedented upsurge in the development of the state lead up to steady upswing will add another page of great transformation to the history of building a thriving nation, thanks to more positive activities of the pioneers personifying the characteristics and mettle of Koreans, strongest and most diligent and resourceful in the world, and the patriotic enthusiasm of all other people striving in response.

Expressing the expectation that all the participants would fully demonstrate the proud honor as dignified paragons of the times and socialist patriotic workers by making more enthusiastic, innovative and strenuous efforts in the course of the development and offensive advance of the country, Comrade Kim Jong Un had a photo session with them.
