When a person is struck by electricity, the power should be cut off before putting him away.
If the shock happens at a high place, a prompt measure should be taken to keep him from falling or to take him down safely before grounding or cutting off electricity.
The rescuer should not directly touch the person shocked.
If the shock is caused by not grounding or ground connection removed, grounding should be regained.
Putting him away should be done by pulling his clothes with the hand or giving him a kick.
If he is shocked by the electricity below 500V, an axe must be used to cut off the live wire.
If he is attached to a single electrical wire, a dry wooden plank or a rubber sheet should be inserted just under the body, or an insulating rod should be held up after inserted between legs so that the electric shock through the body will be cut off.
